Dryleaf Arts is a Hand-to-Hand weapon found in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This weapon, if you can call it that, grants you the abilities of a monk or martial artist. You’ll be able to punch and kick your way to victory in a flurry of flashy attacks, making it perfect for anyone interested in getting up close and personal with enemies.
Here’s what you need to know about Dryleaf Arts and where to find it.
Dryleaf Arts stats and features
Dryleaf Arts has a weight of 1.0 and requires the following stats to wield:
- STR - 8
- DEX - 8
The weapon comes equipped with Ash of War: Palm Blast. This Ash of War imbues your hand with energy and allows you to strike your foes with an explosive blast, which can be quite devastating when used aggressively.
Dryleaf Arts can be upgraded to +25 with standard Smithing Stones.
Dryleaf Arts item description
Dryleaf Arts’ item description reads:
“A technique for hand-to-hand combat without the aid of a weapon. This martial art combines fist strikes and kicks.
The teachings of a group of spiritual seekers known as the Dryleaf Sect, revealed only to those of worthy valor and character. The practice of this martial art marks the dawn of an ascetic’s journey.”
Where to find Dryleaf Arts
You can find Dryleaf Arts by defeating Dryleaf Dane at Moorth Ruins in Scadu Altus. However, he won’t speak to you until you’ve found the Monk’s Missive item and the “May the Best Win” gesture, both of which are found together at the Highroad Cross Site of Grace to the west of Moorth Ruins.
Once you’ve obtained the Monk’s Missive and the “May the Best Win” gesture, return to Dryleaf Dane at Moorth Ruins and use the gesture in front of him. This will immediately instigate a showdown.
Dryleaf Dane won’t put up much of a fight for most folks, but do be aware that he’s very agile and can be difficult to track. Once you take him down, you’ll earn his Dryleaf Arts weapon alongside Dane’s Hat.
