The Beast Claw is a Fist weapon found in Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. This fast and deadly weapon has one of the coolest movesets in the game, and it’s readily available within the first few minutes of arriving in the Land of Shadow. As such, this is one you’ll want to grab right away if you’re looking to start the expansion in style. Here’s what you need to know about the Beast Claw and where to find it.

Beast Claw stats and features

The Beast Claw has a weight of 3.0 and requires the following stats to wield:

  • STR - 13
  • DEX - 11

The weapon comes equipped with Ash of War: Savage Claws. This Ash of War sends you lunging forward with a flurry of swipes to dish out big damage—and look exceedingly cool while doing so. This is a killer choice as an opening attack against unsuspecting foes, but it’s honestly pretty great in just about any situation.

The Beast Claw can be upgraded to +25 with standard Smithing Stones.

An imitation of the esoteric technique of the horned warriors. Those who carry this weapon wield it as though they have been possessed by a savage beast.”

Where to find the Beast Claw

You can find the Beast Claw in Gravesite Plain, almost immediately on beginning the DLC. From the first Site of Grace you encounter (Gravesite Plain Site of Grace), head directly southeast into a dense forest. Near the middle of this forest will be an NPC enemy named Logur, the Beast Claw. Guess what weapon he’s wielding?

Logur, the Beast Claw shouldn’t pose much of a threat for most players who are properly leveled for the DLC, so make quick work of this fast but relatively weak foe. When he dies, he’ll leave behind the Beast Claw for you, letting you live out a werewolf fantasy to your heart’s content.
